Proofing is free for one client with any BookProofs Designer purchase. The Pro plan is $99/year, billed annually, and lets you add all your clients, plus your own branding.
Every app owner can proof with one client for free: send proofs, work through feedback to get signed off, and manage revisions. You can change which client uses the free slot, so if you only take on a few album clients a year it may be all you need. The free tier is offered to help you get started and may change at our discretion.
No. BookProofs Designer is the album design app, a one-time purchase you own forever with no recurring fees. Client Proofing is a separate product with its own pricing.
No. Your clients click a private link you email them through BookProofs and review right in their browser, on a phone, iPad, or computer. No account, login, or download required.
You won’t lose proofing. Your account moves to the free tier, where you keep proofing for one client. Your other clients’ proofs become read-only, custom branding resets to the BookProofs default, and that extra data is removed after 12 months. Your free client always stays active.
